If Evictions Are Wrong in New York, Should Groceries Be Free Too?

Whenever there’s an eviction in New York, the landlord instantly gets painted as the villain because “housing is a human right.” But food is a basic human need too—and nobody argues that means you can walk into Walmart, take whatever you want, and refuse to pay.
