For brokerage owners and team leaders who’ve tried to improve agent recruiting:

What did you actually outsource?

Was it things like the website, branding, social media, recruiting ads, copy/messaging, or something else?

I’m especially curious whether things like positioning and messaging were handled as their own project, or whether they were just part of a bigger website/branding/marketing package.

Would be interested to hear what you actually hired someone for, not what you think brokerages should do.

Not pitching anything here. I’m genuinely curious what you’ve actually outsourced.

Honestly the stuff we outsourced first was the generic stuff, website, social posting, ad creative. The one thing we never handed off was onboarding and the first few weeks of the agent experience. That's where someone decides if they made the right call joining you or not, and nobody outside your office can really nail that tone.

What actually moved the needle for us wasn't even an outsourcing decision, it was building a real repeatable process before we spent more on recruiting. If a new agent joins and spends their first two weeks hunting down forms and asking the same questions everyone already asked, all that recruiting spend just leaks out the back door. We built out a checklist a new agent could actually follow on their own, cut down a ton of the hand holding.

So my two cents, outsource the generic marketing stuff, keep onboarding in house, or at least keep it tight even if you build tools to help with it. Happy to get into more detail on what we did for that first 30 days if it'd help.
