I am relatively new here. I am a Pro member. Do we have to pay extra for foreclosure information on this site?

Before paying for a service, check whether your county publishes filings for free. Allegheny County does through its open data portal, and that alone showed over 1,200 residential properties with a mortgage foreclosure filed in the last 12 months, so the paid tools mainly save you the cleanup time.

You can click on the 3 lines in the top right corner, go to tools, then foreclosures. There you can search by zip, but it requires an account to view more info. Im unsure if it costs more money or if its included with pro, but i have pro and its asking me to create a login.

Hi @Paul A Calbone ! Foreclosure.com should be $39.80 every month after their 7 day trial. If you run into trouble, make sure to contact our help desk at [email protected].

Thank you, Dan. I was born in Allegheny County and grew up in South Park. I will look into this.

Are you looking for properties headed to foreclosure, the properties at auction or the properties that have been through and are now REO?

There is a different way t buy at each step and it helps to know which step you're interested in to give you the best advice.

Thank you, John. I will be a first-time buyer. I also have an eligible VA loan. I am ready to start my real estate journey.

save yourself a lot of time and energy. Make sure there’s a sale date set because so many pay off. Also, you should see if there’s links to the data. Will save you a lot of time.

Each jurisdiction has different ways of reporting because there are several ways a property could wind up in foreclosure. It's usually a better shot identifying and then tracking the foreclosures through the cycle the way we do it.
