Hi team. If you've worked or know a general contractor with reasonable prices please send me their info my way. I need general repairs like painting, patching dry-wall, installing flooring, etc. Thank you.

Hopefully you have someone chime in. I would ask in local FB groups, I've had good luck with those

For painting, drywall patching and flooring, a handyman or small painting crew is usually cheaper than a full general contractor. Ask for a written scope with a price per room or per square foot, not an hourly guess, and get two or three quotes for the same list so you can compare them.

Check that they carry insurance and ask for photos of similar jobs. Pay in stages tied to finished work instead of paying everything up front. If you own more than one unit, a crew that does a first small job well is worth keeping on your list.

I have multiple different contacts. It does depend on the specifics of what you are having done. Reach out and I can give you some contacts

Another tip for cosmetic work like paint, drywall patching and flooring: walk the place with each contractor and have them quote the same written list so the bids are apples to apples. I also like asking for a recent address they've finished so you can drive by or call that owner. Good luck, Dion!
