How and where to Market New RV Park spots for Rent

I just recently developed a new RV Park in the country (Oatmeal, TX) out about 38 miles from North Austin. It's in a quiet country area. Not on a busy highway but on a country road so not so many people drive buy. How would you go about helping people find it?

I have it on 15 or so Facebook pages and have done some things for people to find the website. I also have it in a free paper that comes out twice monthly.

I would really like to hear any suggestions.

Thank you, Joe Schultz

Hi @Joe Schultz! Since your RV park is away from the main highway, I'd focus on helping people find it online. I'd make sure it's listed on Google Maps with good photos, clear directions, and contact information. I'd also look into RV park directories where travelers are already searching for places to stay. That might help you reach people beyond your Facebook posts.

I'm a real estate attorney, broker, and investor based in Maryland, and I work with property owners on contracts, rental matters, and real estate transactions. I've seen how important clear information and communication are when people are considering renting a property.

Thanks for sharing this, @Joe Schultz! Congratulations on getting your RV park started. I hope you find some good ways to get the word out. Happy to stay connected!

Joe, are you mainly after overnight travelers or people staying a month or longer? I’d shape the page around that first. Show the site layout, hookups, usable pad dimensions, road approach and what the quoted rate includes. On the vacation-rental side, those practical details help someone decide whether the place fits before they call. With a quieter location, I’d also make the arrival route especially clear in photos.
