It was good that i already read books such as Think and Grow Rich, The Millionaire Next Door, Good to Great and many others that made RDPD easy to understand. 

I hope to form strategic relationships and increase my knowledge through BP to grow some serious wealth!!!

Just joined and we own 7 mobile home parks (and growing) in Arizona. 

We are fine with it, this home is for us to grow our family in and not to fix and resell.

I'd venture to say a) most people don't know how to actually run numbers on rental properties, and know what constitutes cash flow, and b) if most are like me, they grow up thinking if you just own rental properties you are good to go!

Growing up in my neighborhood we had well and septic as well. 

@Diana B.If you will be purchasing property in the U.S.A. while residing in Canada, then before you even get on a plane, you need to figure out your long term strategy (i.e. to you plan to keep all earnings in-country to grow your business or do you need to bring the money home) and the best organisational structure to fit your current situation and help you realise your objectives.If you search Canadians buying real estate in the US here on BP you will find several threads which raise some of the ownership considerations when investing abroad (control of repatriation of funds; taxation; liability, etc).
