Most of the slowdown isn't big projects, it's small repetitive tasks that stack up.

First, let me say that real estate sales is a great profession with unlimited earning potential and you have the ability to create your own "pension" with contractual recurring income with rents with your own properties or supplement your income with rehab projects on your own fix-and-flip properties. 

My main goal is to connect with experienced investors and operators to learn from those already in the space.I’m also very open to helping on any self-storage related projects (market research, underwriting, deal analysis, etc.) to gain hands-on experience and add value.

:) If you're not evaluating adjusting rents annually, then this is more a hobby than a business venture.You don't necessarily want to chase market rents to the "penny",  but no increases is usually a sign of lax management.For the condo with numerous special assessments - what is the HOA projecting for the next 2-3 years?
