I can really empathize, I've been under the knife many times.FWIW So far my kiln dried lumber is still going down & I only by American made electrical materials from Schneider corp.

Do you need to empathize with the seller and their situation?

Recently I’ve been living next to an illegal and poorly run STR operation and I can now better empathize with folks who strongly oppose them.

Anyway, I have been following this thread since last summer and empathizing with everyone's experience.

This control over contact, is apart of manipulation and abuse.I may be a kind person, I do consider myself to be somewhat of an empath as when I am dealing with confrontation or a disagreement I always try to put myself in the other persons shoes. 

And, i empathize because there was a lot of outlandish assumption marketed and promoted in this regard.

I’ve also used Home Warranty services (could write a book actually) as a hedge for C class properties I managed in the past so I empathize with the intent. 

I don't think your planner was trying to steer you wrong but it's tough to empathize if you've never experienced owning a family business/real estate.
