An LLC is usually for liability/asset protection, not a tax requirement, and transferring title can trigger lender/insurance and program-payment considerations.

That will drive loan program options along with the type of loan and the condition of the property.

Are you named as an additional insured on the tenant’s general liability policy, and have you received the actual endorsement rather than a certificate alone?
