They have modified this recently to cover more conditions.Next if you dont have many assets other than your house you probably don't need an LLC yet.There are some tax benefits to having a formal company, be it an LLC or reg corp.there are a lot of factors, total wealth, risk of loss, amount of insurance, how much hands on you will be on repairs, etc. that need to be considered.

@Chris G. any contract can be modified if all parties agree and sign it.Otherwise, your contract should have a renewal period or notice period with which either party can cancel.
