So when people spill drinks or even mop, the moisture starts pulling away the finish from the edges of each plank.Perhaps what I should have bought was of a truly vinyl material?

It's super easy to clean (you can mop it!)

Btw, the wet spot in the last picture is due to the cleaning ladies mopping right before the photographer came.

They have oak hardwood floors, 6" mop boards with pretty base cap, mahogany doors, 11 windows in each one bedroom apartment most of which are still in decent shape-- that old wood is HARD-- if the windows haven't been painted, we pull the stops, re-rope the windows and then use screws to replace the stops and call it a day.

Even a hot mop is more than 10 years. 

Just get rid of it and replace it something more durable that can be cleaned with a mop and some bleach.

All the other side needs is one receipt that shows you bought personal groceries and along with it a can of easy-off or a broom/mop or a bulb for the rental property...BAM!

They have to sweep, mop etc.We charge $100 pet fee and that covers up to2 dogs.We use this for small breakage or losses.
