Regardless of their background you are going to have to train them, make sure you have tutorials and a system. 

The tutorial were not that helpful either.I’ve struggled to find a designated contractor for this issue and was wondering if anyone here had a solution to this. happy to take recommendations for another type of thermostat brand as well.

There are great tutorials on the internet on how to do things in excel. 

Now there are lots of tutorials on how to use the various software.

The learning curve on custom construction was steep, and there weren’t always “how-to” tutorial videos.

Waiting on a few more documents from lenders but I will just forward to my CPA from there.I enrolled in 3 different Quickbooks tutorial/showcase webinars here in the coming weeks so I'm really looking forward to those to see what all is going on.

I'd recommend watching YouTube tutorials for both, that'll be more insightful than my trying to explain the details of both.

I have had a linkedin account for like 5 years and have not used it at all since I've owned my own business, other than adding my facebook friends and connects (which is pointless because I never visit the site).I would particularly be interested in any sort of tutorial type series geared towards investors on using LinkedIn, but also any personal tips and tricks are appreciated.
