I'm curious what led you to believe property management is a must for you given the properties are 1.5hrs away from you?

So you could easily make a case that this 10 foot difference in what you were promised and what you actually got will seriously affect what you intended to do with the property.Even beyond that, though, is just the simple fact that you were led to believe you were buying a property that was about 1200 sq feet more than what you actually got. 

With that, we would replace toilets and shower heads with low flow, install LED fixtures, purchasing Energy Star appliances, etc.

Glad there are people out there in those trenches fighting those battles (the line for legal aid clinics in that central valley city in CA was out the door, down the hall, and sometimes spilling outside) but for me education led me to both a career (took a college job were my degree was required) and real estate.Another note...

I was told it was much more diverse and my experience has not led me to think otherwise.
