Most transplants from northern states tend to do this and are understanding when I explain and now I have a section in my tenant's rule book on this subject.I am happy to let him walk and end the lease, but I wonder if I need to proceed with mold testing regardless just to prove that this property is mold free because he raised a health concern.If I just offer to break the lease even if he moves on he can come back 3 months later saying he has been coughing and sneezing since and it all started when he was residing here.since this is an apartment with other units, I am also concerned about tenant chatters.
