If I had a LOT of money, I'd buy the largest multi-family that I could afford.

Hello BP Pro,I have used the search function and actually found no results.  

The property was on 3900 sq. ft (small lot) but very functional. 2 buildings, 1st slept 8-10 , 2nd building has 2 units (1st & 2nd floor).

They all serve different purposes and functions and partnerships.

Heat pumps also function as A/C in hot weather, so in the summers your tenants wouldn't have to use those ugly window-mount A/C units (can be dangerous if not properly secured, can also be a break-in risk).Those ductless units are pretty nice, too, and fairly low-maintenance as far as I know.
