Additional options, if the property is convenient to a large urban center are to build a farm brewery to add value to your crops or a farmer's market or even a farm stand, perhaps a co-op deal with other local growers.

It really hit hard, after flying a "date" out from Ohio to Denver (I paid for the flight) on Martin Luther King weekend in 2001 so we could ski together (we met New Year's 2000 while vacationing at Heavenly Ski Resort in Tahoe).
