I would rather own fewer debt free properties than a larger highly leveraged portfolio.I earn enough from my w-2 job (that I don't plan leaving anytime soon) to finance future deals. 

Any time I run numbers the houses seem to have a return of -5% to -15% returns (at 25% down) and cash returns of 5-10% on STR.

With the location we doubt we will be able to raise the rent, and not anytime soon.
