I'm kind of a clean freak so I can share a few things I like on a personal level that were mostly found on tiktok from STR cleaners: -Sprayway glass cleaner: works great and inexpensive too-Odoban: like a Febreze, my former home housekeeper used it, it has a scent which I really like -Rocco & Roxie for pet stains-Weiman Stainless steel cleaner for fridge, microwave etc.

Here's a recent example: the last time I installed a fridge, I had to switch the door to open the right way, upgrade the outlet it plugs into, and level the floor beneath it.

The attic situation is one of those classic “real estate reality checks,” but honestly, better to learn now and treat it as a future value-add than be blindsided later.Since you’re so close to closing, a few things to keep in mind: make sure utilities are ready to be switched into your name the day of closing, confirm you’ve got landlord insurance (not just homeowners insurance), and have a solid idea of the immediate expenses (fridge, stove, maybe A/C if you pull the trigger).

  $400 for cleaning (I'm in Canada) would be a deep cleaning and should mean everything is cleaned (ie oven, behind appliances that are easily moved-fridge, stove).For $3500, they need to provide you with an itemized invoice.

Each unit has its own kitchen setup (full stove/oven, dishwasher, fridge, etc.), bathroom, living room space, and some units are bigger than others.
