Smart thermostats: I have temperature sensors (or smart thermostats) installed in each unit because I want to make sure the tenants don't turn off the heat in winter.

Good insurance, clear house rules, safety signage, proper lighting, and regular maintenance go much further than footage ever will.

Just be very careful to follow the proper sequence for rekeying to avoid ruining the key cylinder.
