Not a hue expense but still important.Do you feel any sagging in the floor?

OK, the color is annoying, but reddish cherry stain was big in the 80s and 90s.But this is what happened for the bulk of the woodwork.

Hide whatever that reddish looking pipe is going across the ceiling (Is it a Pex hot water line maybe?) 

Keep colors in similar hues, etc.We've done similar CC&R's on a subdivision we developed, and we specified exteriors had to be stucco, roofs had to be of same quality, colors etc.

Some Granite reddish stone carries traces of it.

If they didn't put fans and de-hues in your unit to dry it out, you might have mold.

laminate has been popular for two decades brcause it is clean and tough, just look for laminate that passes for wood it looks so goodGlass is natural, beautiful, eay to clean and reflective...and will be used in different sizes, colors, shapes and paired with other materials for some time to comeGranite or any stone is classic...but as tastes change the preference for colors of granite will change...and yes it will take a backseat to other fresher ideas in countertopsWood ceramic tile will probably last like travertine porcelain tile because they imitate nature...but as tastes change the underlying hues change...goldenish tones giving way to grayish, I think "looks" will date a decor more than individual choices.  

Most of the unit has a reddish brown/auburn style wood appearance flooring (that I wouldn't be able to match exactly), so I'm wondering what to go with to replace the kitchen flooring?
