I'm an Army veteran currently living in NC, but I'm not sure this is where I'll stay. I hope to go back to school to become a social worker and hopefully work for the VA. But I plan to buy something else--perhaps a foreclosure. All 3 are in Auburn, AL. After growing in Auburn, I am considering branching out to Raleigh, NC, but we will see what it looks like there when the time comes. Also, as of spring 2018, I've started looking into tax sales. This is a brand new, but interesting area for me. I do all this with the help of my financial planner. My SFH was my only deal I did alone and it was my primary residence at the time. Real Estate Goals: My financial planner says not to say I want X number of properties, but rather, I want $X00,000 in properties. Shhh...Don't tell him, but I want about 10-15. ;-) Currently Seeking: At the moment, I'm looking for information on tax sales and foreclosures. And some time thiss year I'll be looking for another rental property in Auburn, AL...hopefully another duplex, but we will see...
