Forum suggestion

Make it easy to spot veterans, newbies, and those in between. I know number of posts, influence, and awards give clues, but tenure would be interesting.

I'm guessing that you're talking about doing that on the forums, right? We already have that on a user's profile -- I'm just wondering how much more space we want to use on the forum sidebar . . . then again, we could use the top part of a forum post where name, occupation and location are.

What do others think? Is this an addition that you'd like to see?

I think that's a great suggestion ... I've noticed there are some long-time members who prefer quality over quantity when it comes to number of posts so showing their tenure might give em a little more 'street cred!' :lol:

Yes Josh, I do mean on the forums. I realize that the info is on the profile, but making it quick and easy to see would be great.

Maybe to save the space you could have a tooltip that comes up when you put your cursor over the members avatar.

I hate extra scrolling, so put it someplace where it requires no extra space. So far, Josh has the best location for it, at the top next to the other info already there.

I like the idea, when I'm looking at the forums, I look at all the users info from user name, location, number of posts. This would give me one less reason to stop reading the thread and check out their full profile.

I think its a keeper
