Hows the Bakersfield Market?
I live in San Diego. I've been looking for markets in CA that are more affordable and still in fairly high demand. How's the Bakersfield market? I'd love to hear from folks who are familiar with the area and/or who invest in the area.

@Jordan Budke - In my opinion the Bakersfield market is still going to keep chugging along and providing value to investors. We are still one of the lower priced larger metros in CA and we are continuing to grow. With the Hard Rock hotel and Casino breaking ground, plus the residential development that they have planned for the area and the high speed rail coming I think there is still a lot to be had. Not to mention that we have Nestle building a new center here, along with John Deere, Ikea, Walmart, Target, Williams Sonoma who are already here. The market has changed since the pre-covid days but there is still a good market here. Feel free to PM me if you would like to chat further as well!
