Poll: How long did it take you to quit your day job from passive rental income?
Curious to see what the average time frame is. It seems to be about 7 years from what I've seen so far.
I started this past December with the purchase of my first Triplex. My plan is to complete 6 more multifamily deals this year. My goals is to leave my day job in under 5 years. By then I would have replaced my joint income and then some. Both my wife and I enjoy our jobs so it is not a rush. Looking forward to writing that post in 5 years.
