Investor Friendly title companies in New Jersey?
Good morning everyone,
(My first ever post on BiggerPockets)
I've just gotten a property under contract in Irvington NJ, and I'm searching for a title company that will not look at me as a scam artist whenever I ask them for my needs.
Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciative!
Thank's,
Neil
Hi Neil,
Welcome to BP and the fabulous world of Wholesaling! Your local REI club is a great resource to start. A lot of investors have already found title companies that are familiar with our style of assignments, you can also contact a number of title companies in your area and ask to speak to the sales rep they know who the investor friendly escrow officers are. Wish you best of luck.
Sorry for the late reply,
Thank's a lot Steven!

Hello Anthony,
I've been working with 2 Investors who've decided to actually pay me in cash.
This became a bad habit for me because I've gotten burned twice on two deals a little while after that. Not by them, but other investors.
Good Morning Neil,
Did you end up finding an investor friendly title company in NJ? I am in NYC looking for the same but I am getting underway to start searching for deals in NJ since I have a cash buyer out there. If you want to maybe JV on some deals I am up for that as well.
Investment Title is great. Most title companies won't do "double closings", but they will do wholesale fee closings. Most lawyers, however, will do a double closing and the title company can be the same for the initial transaction, or different if the end buyer would prefer (though using the same one will save money). Alternatively, the initial buyer doesn't need to order title if they get an end buyer before the title period in the contract (if there is one) expires. Hope that makes some sense!
@Jessica Zolotorofe thank you for your recommendation. We are also currently looking for an experienced multi-family/commercial real estate attorney in northern NJ, I'll be sure to keep contact for our transactions.
Hello Everyone! I am new here, and had a question. I am in the North/Central NJ area. I started as a Private Money Broker and just got back into wholesaling, and wanted to know if anyone had a good Title Company they could recommend to me that's really good with all Wholesale type deals?
Sorry disregard last post I did this wrong.. lol
