The silent killer of real estate pipelines nobody talks about

Most agents I speak to think their biggest problem is lead generation.

It's not.

The leads are coming in. From Zillow, Instagram, referrals, open houses, website forms. The volume is there.

The silent killer is what happens in the 24 hours after a lead arrives.

No immediate response. No system to track where they came from. No follow-up sequence. No visibility into which leads are hot and which ones have gone cold.

By the time the agent circles back — the lead has already spoken to someone else.

The agencies closing consistently aren't necessarily generating more leads. They've just stopped leaking the ones they already have.

That's the difference between a pipeline and a revolving door.
