The way you are identified as an accredited investor will be a little different for every investment. You’ll provide specific information to verify your financial wherewithal for a specific syndication, etc. Every syndication or investment performs their own due diligence.

Hi @Phil Cecere. Great question. For a Reg D 506c syndication (I’d guess 80-90% of the ones most of us would manage or invest in), I highly recommend VerifyInvestor.com. We automatically include this service for all of our investors as part of the investment process at no charge to them. You can pay them directly (~ $65 I think) and their verification letter is good for 60 days I believe.
You can also have a CPA, attorney, or certified financial planner provide a verification letter.

Hey Phil - we require our investors to fill out a self-accreditation questionnaire as part of the subscription process for every one of our syndication opportunities, just like @Ed Tamayo said. We don’t accept third party accreditation - it’s our responsibility to verify directly with each investor their accredited status for every investment.
