Hi I am looking for a contractor for removing couple walls and a bathroom addition. If you have any recommendations please let me know.

    You'll likely need signed and sealed plans from an architect/engineer also.

    @Manolo D.   I read some of the post.. on delays.. possibly the same here..The city permit dept said the turnaround time is around 6-7 days once the plans are submitted and everything is in order..will see how it goes.

    @Amit (Alex) B. Much simplier in my state, load bearing walls can be an over the counter permit.
