Hello BP, I hope i am posting this in the correct category!
So I had a guy that was able to walk a property and give me a ballpark estimate of what rehabs would run. He has moved onto bigger and better things and is way too tied up with his new venture to help with this. Can anyone recommend a reasonably priced contractor that is able to give quotes in exchange for either a per property fee or awarding jobs to this contractor? The property i am currently needing a quote on is in norfolk but will have others in the chesapeake, virginia beach, and portsmouth areas of virginia. happy new year!

@Josh Wilson - It's really hard to find contractors willing to just give quotes. If it takes them 2-3 hours to travel to your location, meet with you, and quote a job, that's 2-3 hours of lost income to them. It's even harder to find good contractors who get the job done as quoted! LOL. You'll have the best luck with one of the bigger companies like 800-FIX-HOMES or the Target Group. Both focus on property management firms.
Do you attend TRIG? You may also get some good contacts by attending meetings. WE don't get a ton of contractors who attend, but there are a few - structural, windows, kitchens, etc.

Tidewater Real Estate Investors Group. It's the largest and oldest investor club in VA, and one of the only that's a non-profit. Their website is www.trigofva.com. The meeting schedule is on the website.

Yes, There are several investor clubs in Richmond. BP told me in another post I can't give a link to an investor club - they called it advertising. But if you google REIA Richmond VA you should find several.
