Hi all,
I have under contract a 800 sq ft house built in 1930 on a crawl and the one corner is sloping a bit. My inspector didn't think it was a big deal since the plan is to rent the house (I paid 11k)
Anyone know how much this is to fix? 1k 10k???
Depending on the condition of the frame it can be a pretty easy thing or almost impossible if there is lots of dry rot or termite damage. If the frame and support beams are in god shape, a couple 10-20 ton bottle jacks for $50-$75 each and some concrete blocks or field stones should do the trick.
