I am from that area and living in San Diego for the last 25 years. Thinking about trying to get some rental or flip property back in that area. Could use the write-offs whenever I go back home to visit...:-)
Wondering if there are any sub 100K properties worth looking into in that area.

See you are from SD as I am too. I do fix and flips in the central CA area but now focusing those efforts in SD. Investing in the area you are comfortable with is good! Thought you were looking at Crown Point in the SD area!

I live in Crown Point and have access to properties in your price range. I also have a realtor for flipping and a crew to do the rehabbing. There's some good buy and hold areas around Crown Point. Merrillville is good for flipping as well as buying and holding. Please email me for more information or give me a call at 219-308-0162.
