Omega Probe Inc. - Fraud or Real

Hey BP,

I have a condo up for sale or lease option to buy. I got an email from a broker (I think) saying he runs a company called Omega Probe Inc based in Wyoming. He claims he has investors all over the world (Dubai, India, China, etc.) that are looking to invest in the US. His offer was to purchase at full asking with a 50% seller carry back for 4 months until he secures a buyer then pay off the seller carry back in 2nd position.

Has anyone heard of Omega Probe Inc? It sounds like it might be a scam and his website it very bad.

Any advice would help, thanks!

My friend received an offer from Global Real Estate Investors Inc.. The website listed is Omegaprobeinc.com. Both corporations have the same address in Cheyenne, Wyoming. I did my due diligence and researched the company. It appears to be a scam. I got the articles of incorporation and the incorporator is another corporation. I searched for that other corporation and the story was the same: another corporation is the incorporator. Also, I found a lawsuit out LA  County that appears to be linked to the person behind the offers. The dispute was because the buyer (the one that carries 1st position in the deed) requested the court to foreclose on the home. The corporation that lent the money to pay the seller the 50% was left with no recourse, except to ask the court for an injunction. I do not know all the details or the exact basis of the case as I could not get the entire legal complaint. Still, the offer does not seem to be legit and neither does the company. I found tons of information on the person behind it all. Stay away. Run!
