HELOC

I applied for. HELOC on my primary residence and was approved. I have 3 days to rescind. I don't have a deal lined up but searching. Should I have waited to find a deal first before applying for HELOC?

@Shelly Scruggs, I did the same thing as you. Once I got approved, that seemed to really put my mind into a different mindset. Now money wasn't the problem - finding the right deal was. With my new goal of finding a house to flip it became easier to stay focused on potential deals and easier to sort out the good from the bad. I'm just starting my 2nd flip now and I can't wait to continue to pick up more.
