Looking to start a hard money lending company. My partner is actually a real estate attorney. Where are some places I can find clients to borrow from us? Either an online platform or within the Baltimore/D.C.:/VA area.

I'm sure you will find plenty of takers in these forums. Local RE meetups are a good place as well. Consider doing some marketing - list your services on craigslist, contact anyone who has bought property with hard money in your area.

I see people advertising money under real estate services on my local Creigslist site all the time. If you contact your major mortgage companies that are local they would love to offer your money to people they know and TRUST who are doing deals all the time that do not fit the standard criteria for traditional mortgages. Most of these are short term deals with maturity dates of 6 months to a year.
