Hello there - I'm looking to invest in some residential properties ( fix & flip/ buy and hold) in Corpus Christi, TX. Looking for referrals on hard money lenders/ private lenders and a Realtor that specializes in investment properties. Please respond with ideas/ referrals. Thank you!
I have a couple properties in CC. I used Cass Gabriel as an agent; he's quite the personality but if those types don't turn you off IMO he is the best investor agent / investor-friendly agent in Corpus. He can get you excellent buy-and-hold deals and knows the market really well. I don't think rehabs are much of a specialty though, although his network is very strong if you wanted to leverage that. Let him know I referred you!
I also used the Home Lending Group for loans; they work a lot with Cass and the lending piece was as easy as it could be.
I myself was looking to invest in that area, not only because i grew up not far away. But Exxon Mobil just approved a new refinery being built there. a 10 year job that will bring in about 5-6k employees in the town of Portland, said to become the largest refinery in the US. close to corpus. might be a good area to get a jump on.
