Do real estate agents have MLS access to all homes in US on the MLS or just the state they are licensed as a real estate agent in?

    No, there is not a US MLS (you could say Zillow and realtor.com are national mls). In fact an agent may not even have MLS access for the whole state. In Michigan, for example, there are several different MLS for different regions in the state, being in West Michigan I don't have metro Detroit MLS access as I don't do work there.

    @Tom Smith

    It will very from area to area. and from agent to agent.

    I have access to most of MLS in Michigan through my Board of Realtors.

    And some agents are members of multiple Boards or licensed in multiple states.

    But the short answer to you question is no.
