Viewing potential properties tomorrow and I have a quick list of things I personally look for.

Seeking others inputs on what they look for to add to my repertoire.

Drywall cracks, space between trim and floor(both possible foundation issue indicators), proper attic venting(check temp in attic)

@Benjamin Serven just curious because i am new and not sure, what are you checking the temp in the attic for? proper insulation?

Shane, the temp in the attic can cause a lot of issues aside from just making your home really hot! if not properly vented, it can cause your shingles to prematurely break down or melt, as well a build up moisture which can lead to damage on the actual roof sheeting. Both expensive to fix, but properly venting is relatively easy. all heat rises, so the majority of the heat in your home will end up in the attic. if there is nowhere for it to go, the long term damage can be nasty.
