First investment in Southern California

First investment in Southern California

Hi everyone,

I am planning on making my first home investment in Southern California for a rental property so not sure if its Single family home or a condo or what would make sense for better income. I am thinking of a budget around 600K - 800K. Please let me know what are the options available or is there anything else available as a better option for investing?

Cheers!

There are plenty of options in that price range including multifamily, it may even cash flow a bit if you put down a large enough down payment.

Which part of SoCal are you looking in?

    Hi @Prabhu Shetty and welcome!

I run a mortgage and real estate office in LA and have worked for multiple investors looking to get into the SoCal rental game. Not the best place for cash flow with the current prices where they are, but there are definitely opportunities if you know where to look. I'd be happy to answer any questions you have or provide any guidance during the process in either finding or financing the property. Drop me a message anytime.

Welcome, yes it is possible but get very clear on the strategy and the niche that you want to get into.
