Wholesalers: Property Tax sales auction

I got a property that the ARV 117k, however the owner owes 42k in taxes.How do you handle properties that's in tax sale auction? It's scheduled for auction next month. Does it matter if the sheriff is handling the all information on the property? I'm new to wholesaling!
