Hi,
In 2019, I would like to attend at least one or two Real Estate Education Events focused on multi-family, syndication, commercial with an INVESTOR focus. So many events have an agent, newbie, or wide focus. What national, in-depth, laser focused events or conferences should I be attending in 2019?
@Calvin Beeke are you looking for conferences that benefit PASSIVE investors? And you're looking to meet deal sponsors/syndicators in order to invest down the line?
Or are you a more ACTIVE investor? If so, what part of the puzzle would you like to play?
Those answers could help focus you.
I would also echo that @Rod Khleif has a great conference if you can make the time.
I am an active investor approaching 100 units. I also flip 1-2 homes per month, but I am wondering if my efforts and experience should be focused on syndication and larger multis, so that is the direction I am looking for! I want to learn from an active investor perspective.

@Calvin Beeke then you have a lot of options available to you! In my opinion the biggest value in most of these events is networking. You can only learn so much from a 2-3 day seminar, but you can also start a bunch of awesome relationships with people who are already doing what you want to do.

Start by learning how syndications work. I'd recommend you Gene Trowbridge book on syndication, "it's a whole new business". As far as the events, there're some that are great from networking perspective. If you're looking for educational events these will be at a very different (much higher) price point.

@Calvin Beeke you should make the Best Ever Conference a priority. It's in Denver and it is next month. It will fit exactly what you're looking for and it'll help launch your syndication career. I've been to most of the other events and they are all good, but this one should be a "must attend"
