Is a commission due to the buyer's agent if there is a private sale that was not listed on MLS?

Hi @Gary McCulen. My understanding is that if the buyer signed a brokerage agreement with an agent, and a sale transpired (regardless of whether the property was or wasn't listed on MLS), then that agent is entitled to a commission.
