Looking to purchase my first multi family property in Austin TX or surrounding areas and any useful tips would be greatly appreciated. What to look for, etc.

TIA.

Look outside the city. There is virtually nothing on the MLS that will cash flow with 25% down. Go East to Bastrop/Manor/Elgin or North West/East to look for deals that you can make a few bucks on.

Yea I have noticed that. I've seen a few in Bastrop, Temple, or Killeen. But not one that has really caught my eye. @Danny Webber

Right now, we are working on fixing up a house in South Austin to put on the market in the next month or so. Have also thought about purchasing another home for a decent amount and flipping it. It's all new to me so we are getting our feet wet with this first home.
