I'm super excited that today I'm going to wire the last payment for one of my rental property to have it completely paid off in just three years. Now, I want to use that equity and put it to work and I was thinking to get a HELOC from a local credit union or bank. My question is, have anybody here done a HELOC on a rental property in Georgia? If so, where can I try first? Any inputs will be greatly appreciated.

Hey @Eddie Espinal, I've got an excellent mortgage banker who lends here in Georgia (and also South Carolina). I'd recommend you give him a call and see what terms are available.

@Mitch Messer I would also love that connection if possible. Not to hijack the thread at all, but I purchased a duplex using a local bank with good low money down terms and would like to refinance into a more traditional situation. I look forward to hearing back.
