For me personally, RE teaches me it is never how hard you work, it is how clever you work.
I do not need to go to work and get up at 7 am every morning due to my real estate investment. But My old classmates/colleagues who only earn 10% of my cash flow still need to get up at 7 and stay in the office for 8-9 hours per day.
Life is not fair in every way, you really need to learn the rule of the game.

My biggest lessons have been related to setting up systems to get things done consistently and on time, without my direct involvement. Executing basic tasks and learning how to hire the right folks to handle them. The essence of running a business, and the key thing that helps us grow bigger!
