Neighbor getting evicted - I'd like to buy his house

Hello all,

Sheriff knocked on my door this AM and told me that my neighbor was getting evicted in 5 days. Consequentially, I've always had an eye on their house as it's a fixer in a great neighborhood.

I'm curious as to what the process is here and if there's any way I can tie this up before it goes into probate, etc....

Would love to hear any anecdotes to this story or any flippers out there well-versed in probate/evictions!

@Will Johnson what does probate have to do with anything in this situation.  Your neighbor is being evicted meaning the owners evicted him, not that the owners died.  If you want to discuss a purchase you need to talk to the owners you can generally find a mailing address in public records.
