I'm looking for neighborhoods in either East Dallas or south of Oak Cliff for potential SFH's in the $100k that would be used for an all-cash purchase. Does anyone have experience buying and holding in these neighborhoods?

It is tough. There aren't a lot of under 100K houses any more. It's definitely a niche though. Budget for higher turnover and repairs/theft. This is where you get your 1% and 1.5% deals....and maybe even 2% if you are lucky.
