I have another vacant property where both owners passed away. There seems to be no children and no will or anything. Taxes owed all the way since 2016. Husband passed away in 2014 and wife in 2017. How do I get a hold of someone who can help with this? What steps are next in these type of situations?

@Account Closed You will need to confirm the inheritance laws in Texas. You will need to research the family tree of the owners. If there are no children or grandchildren, then the parents inherit, and if their parents have passed away, then it goes to their siblings, and then the siblings' children it their siblings have passed. You can end up with a lot of people with a small inherited interest in the property and you'll have to track them all down and purchase their partial interest to get the property.
You might want to find out if there are tax liens on the property before doing all that work.
