The price of a home inspection varies greatly by area. There are also some variables at play, you might have different concerns depending of the property and where is located, some issues you might pay extra for are radon, termites, water quality, lead.. etc.
The average we see in my area for a basic home inspection not covering any of the extra issues stated above ranges between $400 to $700 depending on the type of property.
@Joaquin Camarasa Apologies for the confusion. What I am trying to ask, is once you get an inspection how much damage or issues do they typically find? i.e how many issues does a typical report show? In addition what is the typical cost to fix these issues. I know that these depend on the house, but I wasn't sure if anyone had a general average. For example
"An inspection finds about 20 issues per house, and on average these fixes or replacements can cost about $15,000.00
