I’m looking to invest in a vacation rental somewhere in Panama City or close to that area. I’m not sure where to start anyone on here well verse in that area and or a real estate agent?

@Ben Thompson - As an agent and investor in the PCB to Destin areas, I find the best way to connect with support is through the local meetups. It looks like you're from Louisville, so that may not be an option for you. There plenty of great agents along the coast that understand the rental market. I just recommend that you vet them well. When looking for remote support, I tend to look for agent who also invests in that market or niche (i.e. they know both the sales and operations).

Look up John Lavin (Realtor) in the Destin and PCB area on google. If you can't find his info DM me and I'll gladly send it over to you. He helped us close on 2 duplexes that we currently rent out as vacation rentals and we gross over six figures from then. He would be a great resource.

@Ben Thompson PCB is, in my opinion, is the next big metro for growth. First, your dollar will go much further there than moving westbound along the coast into Destin. Second, the city’s recent efforts to rejuvenate the tourism and detract from the spring break party scene has been laudable. Third, the economic opportunity is about to spike as Lockheed Martin brings in 72 airplanes to Tyndall AFB. Feel free to PM me if you want to set up a call! 🇺🇸
