Hi where do you all look when doing rehabs and you're trying to find handyman and lawn services? Looking for online platform or website ideas.

    @Tara Montgomery

    I look around on FB Marketplace or ask neighbors.  I've found many a good resource and far less that were not.

    Cheers!

    Hey Tara, I have had plenty of success building my vendors list/ hiring people off of the Facebook groups. Definitely vet them before having them come to your project but you should check out some of the "Atlanta contractors" groups. Plenty of spam just like most Facebook groups but plenty of good apples as well. I know some of my investors have had this success as well.

    Tara - I've basically become reliant on asking my network for referrals for vendors. The best referrals are typically people that do the work themselves or have a small handful of crews. There are exceptions to this but you usually need to have a great relationship to get awesome service from a larger company.

    What online platform/website ideas are you looking for? Are you looking to copy something that is working for another company?

    Hey Tara You can either self source by jumping in Facebook groups, local real estate communities and networking with smaller investors. You can also reach out to well established investor friendly agents who have a network of reliable contractors. They can connect you with trusted handyman and lawn services, and they might also send you deals that match what you're looking for. Here are two online platforms, check out either Thumbtack or Nextdoor.

    If any professionals were involved in the purchase (agent, title company, attorney etc) ask them.

    Neighbors are great especially for lawn services (you can readily see the results).

    Drive around the neighborhood and look for active construction sites and talk to the contractors for recommendations.
